Session 1 - Week One activitiesWelcome back! Now you have registered and can begin your course. Remember, you will find instructions for the previous sessions on the course sitemap. Today's email covers Week One Learning Challenge: Why Mainstream ODL? Read the Learning objectives, then click NEXT to move onto the activities. There are five activities altogether. All the activities in Unit One serve as formative assessment. If you do all the activities, they will help you to prepare for the Quiz at the end of the Unit and the assignment at the end of the course. If you complete the Unit Quiz at the end of each of the four Units and get at least 50%, you will get a Certificate of Participation. If you complete the Unit Quiz at the end of each of the four Units and get at least 50%, and complete the assignment at the end of the course, you will earn the Course Completion Badge. Note that all the Unit quizzes will be completed in Moodle and you need to have registered for the Moodle platform to do this. A link to Moodle is provided for each quiz at the end of the Unit.
