Establish your learning journal blog

Dear [First Name]

Welcome to Session 2: Establish your learning journal blog.

Visit the course schedule for recommended dates for Session 2.

At the OERu we encourage learners to set up a personal course blog to be used as a learning journal. Your learning journal blog is an e-portfolio documenting your learning journey by publishing the outputs of the course learning challenges online.

A blog is a website which enables individuals, groups, or organisations to easily publish content online. Your learning journal blog is a website that you will control and retain access to the content you produce long after the course has finished. The OERu technology platform will also fetch links to your blog posts for inclusion in the course feed so you can connect with your learning peers.

Instructions

  1. Create a blog account
  2. Configure your blog
  3. Assign your blog url to our course account
  4. Tag or label your declaration blog post in 4 above using the course code: BMAN111 (this is needed to harvest a link to your blog post on the course feed).
Good luck and we look forward to reading your blog posts online!

Best wishes
BMAN111 Team.

If you need course specific help, post your questions using the general forum for BMAN111. Remember to include the url of the page where you are having problems.

Let's leverage the power of peer-learning by helping each other. If you know the answer to a question in the forum, help a friend by responding. Bear in mind that as an international course, and academic volunteers helping out on the course may be in a different time zone and could be sleeping when you post a question.
